Studio A Facilities:
Studio A was designed to be a versatile suite for audio production, including record tracking, editing and HD surround mix.
It features a robust American recording console with full patch bay(is 1980's vintage already?). It has been completely recapped and restored and is joined by a modern Nuendo HD digital system with 16 class A inputs and outputs, and a Studer A-80mkIV 24 track 2" recorder..
Studio A is the largest recording space in a single room. It is an excellent space for recording strings, drums, and vocals. There is space to setup a 4 piece rhythm section together and many other scenarios you can dream up. It has been host to Capital records recording artists MAE, as well as classical ensembles, like the Tidewater Guitar Orchestra (a 12 man classical ensemble).
The A control room dimensions are 16 x 13 x 12. The A studio is 21 x 13 x 12. There are audio and video tie lines to connect sessions in Studio B into this control room to expand the footprint of the A studio for your larger sessions.
